This is looking really nice so far. I think you can push the lava effect just a slight bit more, and also give some love to the second ring beneath the handle. Finally, set-up and emissive mask for this and let's see it in an engine!
This is really good! The only things I notice are that the tails of the eyebrows could be more pointy, and the corners of the mouth could be less wide. The neck could also be a bit thicker. Her eye makeup is so pretty and I love the nose ring and shape of the nose
I think I get what you are saying. I am, however, working with an uninteresting shape. And the current scene demands that I keep the wheel intact; or I would make it more interesting by breaking it, showing it with the metal rings rusted off ect...
@ bobthegreatll - I guess i can easily ring select and add a bunch of sides but that would double meaning 32 sides. it would be a waste of time if i moddled again? @ paradan - Do you mean the main barrel as in what the bullet comes out of?
Dwarf sharpening stone. The ring inside the sone and the blank corner faces will have runes but i will add those in nDo. So, i thiiiiink im going to start the retopo on the forge. Feel free to let me know what you guys think.
The reference picture isn't exactly fan made. It's actually made by WETA Workshop (lord of the rings). They also made a warthog. :) Anyway it is a pretty good reference. Rens: I'm also a huge halo fan. :) I'm going to checking back for updates on this! Good Luck!
Still puttering about with poses and stuff. I still need to do a bit more work on the textures, but he's pretty much done except for some small tweaks. Still need to whip up a stand for him. Maybe I'll do a wrestling ring.
Argh, fuck, this quote is ringing so many bells I can't hear myself think... I know what the this was from, but I'll be damned if I can remember the name. Other than that, I'll be kicking myself when someone gets it right, no doubt.
Logitech MX510 or 518, either one is money. I have mine hotkeyed up with Ring/Loop/Connect on the 3 extra buttons up top and Backspace/Delete on the side. Plus a bunch of other stuff. About half of my modeling hotkeys are on the mouse.
I misspoke. I should have said, the more you have of one, the more you are [allowed] to add of the other while still maintaining a valid colour harmony. And this is new material shadow colour is based on the object color after it is blended with the light. It wouldn't have to be realistic but some neat styles could come…
