You have to create material (.vmat) and after that you have to sort of remap it, explaned here: ahh almost forgot and you have to re-build you asset (right click in asset browser). but that's about it. I wonder if anyone managed to preview hero with custom (not accepted in to the game) new item. -

So let me see if I have this right. You want people to help you make your game, for free and you will use it to make money selling premium items in the game? I don't think anyone is going to want to work for free on a game you stand to make money on. -

you know kdr--I felt that way about portrait of ruin too...but then I REALLY got into it..mostly its the sidequests (a great addition!) and all the OCD collectable aspects--which they really fine tuned for this game (100% the skills, items, poweringup skills, quests, map, it just keeps going..!) -

Nope. Not there either. See this. http://www.reactor3d.com/ Xbox live, iphone and any service where you are stuck going on through one and only one method of getting your items to your customers, and the "store" gets to choose what is and isn't acceptable while sucking up your profit margins.. sucks. -

By the size and position, I'd say this monitor has been kicking around for a good few years and features a grubby hand print from a very young Alyx from when she was playing behind the desk. Suddenly he's got a (probably accidental) history for the most generic of items in his scene. -

Do you mean render in layers? Are you absolutely sure it is your treads? Have you troubleshooted this item specifically? Are you sure it isn't a specific shader you are using? Maybe you're BSP setting needs some adjustment. Run a render diagnostics to see what initial errors it returns.
