saw this yesterday, awesome stuff.. looks similar to one of the characters for that personal game idea stuff he did a while back. one thing though, what teams it for? the robots aren't supposed to have human elements and the humans arent supposed to have robot elements.. -

I dont see why you would want 1bit alpha, standard 8 bit alphas really arent that slow with normal mapped objects, we use them all the time.... Perhaps if you're previewing a model that'll use alpha test in the game? -

graphics arent mind blowing. Not a HUGE step forward. Though, lighting and particles look niiiiice. hopefully that means next will will go back to focusing on gameplay, not graphics. current gen took a step back from gameplay to focus on graphics, i think. -

cool character, yeah latest shots arent showing, based on the shots I can see I think her torso needs to be longer and slimmer, her chest seems really petite in the concept whereas your model is more believeable anatomy. -

Here is another slow update Thanks for comments ! Shadowstep, yeah I will try that and I moved the ribs a bit so they arent symmetrical now. Nefarius24, totally agree with you. I ll redo boots folds so that they are more like on the pants. -

So you are asking for some vague feature that you arent quite sure what it is or how it works, but it might be something like if you boolean two objects together that they magically get rebuilt so the connection is all perfect? yes, it totally might not be in there. -

The problem with reality shows is they arent really reality. Its like that saying in the observation itself that things change. Meaning this kid has a much greater chance of being picked up simply because of the PR of the show. Which other hopefuls watching will forget. -

Still looks like he's made outta rock. My memories of Starcraft are hazy...arent these guys yellow? More organic coloration of the skin would be welcome. It can still be dark, but the shapes & colors look more like granite than flesh. -

Wait what? So your saying that things like cave story arent indie games, and all the guys who run things like tig source and the igf are wrong? Independant games, and independently published games are two very different things.
