I'm with AtticusMars. If would help to know your end goal. Because in most places environment art and level design are two very different things. As for demo reels, if you can show the level well in stills that's always the way to go. A recruiter is much more likely to scroll through several images quickly at his own speed… -

The problem I believe that people have, is when it looks like they taking parts of the main game, and then sell it as DLC. Worried about a trend of 'crippling' the game, just to sell extra stuff. -

Sell off some mountains while we are on. The government apparently didn't listen to the bumpkins tbh. And they realised it was a really stupid idea to begin with. The financial problems aren't going to be solved by selling forests. -
Questions about baking normals in Maya, Xnormal, Marmoset workflow.
Hi, I'm learning to bake normal map for hard surface and very confused :( . I'm using Maya and my problem is when I soften hard edges, my normal will have perfect edges but shading errors on faces. When I harden edges I will get a nice shading but ugly edges except edges that have a UV seam. I only know two ways to solve… -
