Niiice! :D Glad I've been of some help. x) Anyway, that's a good start! I like how the arrow gets "ready to be shot" at 00:02. It looks nice already. :) Maybe give it a bit more impact. ^^ But yeah, just a WIP, and a good one. Keep it up! :D
Uhm yea thats a good start :D I seriously dont know what else to say either then draw more - draw whenever you have time and yea pick up that book pior told u about :D its a good book, have the same one
I love the scene :D , I am a fan of anything Sci-fi however the only thing I don't really like is the lighting from the windows on the buildings it just seems a little too bright, for something made by one person however it is very impressive :D well done!
No reason it shouldn't work, especially if you've also tried with mel. Does "d" work, that's the other default shortcut to move mesh pivots (it's a hold command though, so you keep "d" pressed in until you're satisfied with the pivot position, more useful than insert most of the time).
The only thing that really bugs me about that environment is the font you've choosen for doors and such. It's very generic and dull. Change it :D It also looks like it's not really attached to the objects. Othervise, solid work man ;D Nice light setup. Im useless myself at gettin' it moody and nice
found it here http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=62608 ;) thats np. be my guest :D thanx man :D Link for the pics again http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=62608 i liked my renders better guns had some updates but nothing big oh well
Ah... I thought you said I should make all the meshes including the ground in 3DS Max and then recreate the ground meshes in Unity3D... :D :D I was wrong then. I'll try to create exact terrain same as the ground I made in 3DS Max. will share the results in a new post ASAP.
Thanks man! :D Cheers :D Here is an update on the robotic arm, In all the ref images a lot of surfaces are covered in fabric tarps but, i really like the hard surface metal look of the main concepts so I am going to stick to that. Will likely have it moving a module or something in the final scene
Hi everyone :D I'm sorry, I've been overwhelmed with things to do and I didn't post a lot these recent days :( . Buuuuuut I've started texturing :D Still changing the colors to make them match with the colors of the new map. Feel free to tell me any constructive critique o/
That looks like a cool book :D I will have to look into it a bit more. From both perspectives but more so a moduler game art perspective. I would appreciate book recommendations on either. Thanks for the book recommendations they look great.:D Thanks, I found these books for free "legally for free"
