look at the this thread http://www.sevenforums.com/hardware-devices/11375-wacom-tablet-ring-round-pen-cursor-4.html hope it helps, i just wish future updates of the wacom drivers did all this stuff for us.
they changed it in 2011, doesn't matter too much but i did used to like selecting and deselecting with ctrl. i love how they added ring and loop selection in vertex, edge and poly subobject by holding shift on the 2nd selection.
I outlined the flow of edge rings, I think if you extend the horizontal loop into that long vertical edge and adjust it's shape, you'll get much better shading. So basically, moar geo in this case. Hope this helps:
A literal gun vs. car match I think would look like this. A gun and a car are both placed in the middle of madison square garden. On live tv. And the world watches as both just sit there, in the ring, doing nothing.
ditto Also study the console's policies for content too, such as custom content. That matters to me more than some hyped up internal specifications. Stability also matters, the xbox360s are known alot for their Red Rings of Death(tm).
Yeah, I don't think it's one pice. IIRC the ring is usually screwed onto the handle. Some pics. http://www.bcrgroup.biz/magnifying%20glass%202.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g225/pigopotamus_photos/DSC01247.jpg
Your topology is still really inconsistent, lots of "wasted" edges. Why the ring around each hole? Why continue loops through flat areas? Curved details on top area have way more edges than curves below. Etc.
I wouldn't recommend Wings for game artists, though. Mind you, I got started on Wings, and still miss some of its features in every other program I use. Its strictly winged-edge topology and relatively low polycounts (before the viewport slows down a lot) make it hard to use for current-gen games (and the former makes it…
looks very good. I just think that u got too much geometry detail in some places. For example, rings on pipes could be as Normal map. Same concerns division seams on vertical facade sections. The lighting is already pretty cool :)
New update with Mostly fixed anatomy. Im quite pleased with how this is coming along and its actually starting to look like a real thing. Still need to tweak the face/teeth and perspective of the Crest on the belt/rings, and add other small details.
