You can make it rounder, yet save tris, by welding together those coner verts, and moving them in a bit. Otherwise, yes, that is an improvement. Yeah you can. Unboxify it if you arent planning on making a boxy character. Everything else is just excuses. -

I loved the latest one. This one looks stellar too. Yes, it doesnt look like the typical startrek everyone knows, but thats because they arent on a ship most the time. I love where they are going with these movies just because it adds back story. -

I can't think of many companies objecting to Blender. But whatever. Max and Maya arent substantially different. Work with it longer than 2 weeks and you'll quickly get over whatever gripes you might've had. But ya. It has to do with internal tools. -

here is a quick update...yes i know the smoothing group arent done yet...and im still working on it...ya i wish the barricade scene was in there...it would of made it complete...but maybe they will bring him back in the second one..probaly not but any who rambing... -

Alright :) The only thing that i´d correct, without doign major modifications, would be to make the lower handguard align flush with the receiver, so that the lower corners arent exposed that much.… -

the metal parts arent as quality as the rest of the materials, pretty boring maybe adjust the shader, go darker or even different material? (maybe carbon fiber, it could fit pretty good) but overall i got to say it awesome! i love it -

oh wow I never even realised Im the same I keep thinking the back of the ship is the front, it just looks more powerful and imposing in that direction. I mean theres no friction in space so aerodynamics arent too important. -
