Pretty durn slick. I`m curious what he might look like if you covered his open eye with lenses like the other side, but with some a-symmetrical elements.
wonder how the rts elements blend in... hrm. the dialog seems like it'll be gold side note: lets push to stop making "grindhouse" trailers for our games. they're not cool :)
If it's stinky, wouldn't the plant be withered and almost dead lol? Try adding some more elements to give the impression that this shoe really does stink. I'm liking the detail a lot though.
thanks chadabees, I did some passes using mental ray render elements and comp them in PS. Raw mr reflections and raw spec mainly besides the render itself.
put a orthographic camera on top of it all looking downwards. and use "render elements" to get the depth buffer into a texture. adjust near and farplane of camera to be within the limits. that would be my try.
Looks good  I think you would benefit from adding a bit of "traditional" scifi elements such as a wire-trim and some grating on the floor to break up the "only white panels" look
I think the interior needs a few more elements to it, it looks a bit too clean, maybe break one of the glass windows and have fragments scattered around, or add some rubbish or crack a tile
Great progress. Just out of curiosity, what story-telling element do you have in mind for this scene? For me, the latest scene seems like it came from a war-torn version of America.
Looking great Erik, you nailed the construction and lighting! Thanks for the frontpage! Here's another portrait. Mostly from imagination this time, though I did use reference for the lighting and some design elements.
