     If a Cintiq is in your budget get it! If I had to choose my Cintiq or my left hand...I would choose the Cintiq. The only downside is that its causing a rift in my marriage, as my wife get jealous of my relationship with Cintiqua :poly136:

     Choose Direct3D and then you get the choice between directx 9 or 10(choose 9 here). My guess is the driver or the fact that 3dsmax doesn´t like ATI GPU´s (in this case Nitrous seems to hate ATI)

     Select your objects and in the Lighting window select the Object tab. Then in the Advanced Parameters dropdown, choose Create New... You should then have a whole bunch of new options to choose from including baked tag and system tag.

     My understanding is that by choosing all edges and choosing "mark sharp" together with the edge split modifier would result in 6 different smoothing groups, am I wrong? Here is the normal map I used (baked from blender).

     Small feature that may have been mentioned before. You can currently choose different UV channels for AO but for nothing else. It'd be really handy if I could choose different UV channels for things like transparency or any other inputs in general

     Still use imageshack.us (with account). It's free and fast and you can choose to upload it in a specific size or just upload it without change (one i usually choose). Works perfect for me. Used to use photobucket but for some reason lately they always change the size automatically.
