Ok lighting update, bumped the spec up a lot and toned down the gloss to get a more diffused specular. Only thing I really feel like still needs pushing is the rendering on the back window, since it kind of breaks from the rest of the scene too abruptly.
Quick update! I reworked the colors and i prefer these over the old ones a lot! I modified the colors in photshop only without baking a new diffuse map. ...and two Marmoset Toolbag pictures, because i wanted to play around with the new fog tool. :D
damn lol it is one map i meant as theres one diffuse one spec one normal.. equaling three lol my bad. And I know you've advised that before but I think I'm just going to call it quits now and move on to something different
OMG! This stuff is amaizing! dDo had my textures done in about an hour! I like this thing! So I think the gun is ready) Next i'll do the knife and probably start the fat guy. 1k textures (diffuse spec gloss normal) and 256x256 emissive
Yea I agree but I think It's just temp till he works his magic into the diffuse. Here is a nice image of what I think It would look like, of-course this is not an exact reference to go by but I really like her hair so: Pink Hair
Thanks for the links Myles :) But yeah >.< I kinda didn't see the suggestions till after I had started texturing >.< Right sooo.. I need some help with texturing this thing please.. This is the 2k Diffuse I am using resized down to 1k for presentation on the forums.
And some shots of the textures i've done so far, diffuse aren't perfectly tiling atm. :( These are all from photoreference obviously, i've handpainted some details - but they were rushed for my exam so i SHOULD go back and fix them....but they suit the environment for now.
My progress so far: Attachment not found. I'm trying to add as many details as I can. @Port-Seven - great perspective and the couch looks awesome. Looks like it's actually been used. That slight difference between the diffuse of the base of the couch and the cushions looks nice.
Since we don't know what kind of technical requirements you were allowed, many of us can't comment. For example, was tiling allowed? Floating geo for the windows? How close would you get to the model? Only diffuse map or Spec allowed too? Etc.
You can put a beauty shot with everything, and a normal one with another perspective to show that. What does it matter anyways ? All you can shop can you shop in the diffuse right away anyways or do with lights easily. Also you can write "No PP"
