More texture updates for this hallway. Still rendered in max, once I get this into UDK I think I'll have to start a WIP thread or something haha :). Main Hallway bits with self illum maps for the lights. Ceiling tile
textures and everything are still very WIP but what I am really wondering about is the polycount for this thing. Would this be considered too high for a small scene? I could lower it more but im afrade it might not look round enough.
Tried my first AO bake didn't turn out that well. lots of splotches have only a few ngons, project is WIP not sure why this is happening. could anyone help? I tried at 512x2 and then 1024x2, made no difference
Base low poly model in 3ds Max, sculpt and texturepaint in Mudbox. First three characters for fighting game called Eager Blade. Pretty much WIP still. Need to make eyes, "tattoos" for female character and rags for skeleton.
Saturday doodle whilst on downtime from my University work. Nothing serious, should have some more environment WIP's for my portfolio graduation in 10 weeks in the coming days. Cheers @Seth: Loving it, vibrant colours and nice presentation!
Ok guys here is a quick update, still a bit aways to go to get this thing ready for graduation. I had to bust out this pocket area in a week essentially. Needs tons of love on the chair and couch. Deff a WIP Crit it as you will!
yeah have included an explanation about the front wheels in my WIP thread :P i'd forgotten i could of just done it in the UVs, so i'll be cleaning that up soon, was tired when i did it, wasn't really thinking ^^
wester - The background is taking the awesome-ness of that model away imo Finished my Arenanet entry, now can get back to work on cleaning up my Detroyer models armor. Got to work on cleaning the power glove up.Still WIP.
very cool stuff guys, drew++, daphz, firebert - nice here's my latest update from my WIP thread my issue is about handling these buckles, was going to try something like this. does anyone have a better suggestion?
