Mechadus - Insane! I guess ill also add my dragonpics here, just finished for a sculpting contest pretty new at zbrush so the skin didnt come out the way i wanted, turned more out like a mix between scales and dinoskin: And a closeup on the bumpmap:
'Finished' this for a Uni assignment. Task was to model a self portait and then zombiefy it using zbrush. First time head modelling and first time sculpting so was a big challenge. Parts of the texture are lacking but i was rushing towards the end :( Any crits much appreciated! 3370 tris and 2048x2048 maps
holy shiiiet, some really awesome work! really digging ur stuff retleks, crepator enodmi! managed to motivate myself to do some more. detail pass for entire char remaining now...then to decide about lowres or highres and sculpt or generated hair...whop, fun times!
working on a forest minotaur (inspired by paul bonner). he helps keep out the evil forces, and is going to have a little bird sidekick who perches on him and makes sqauwking noises :P still lots of sculpting work to go! gonna aim for about 7,000 tris and a 1024 texture
Thanks for the comments everyone! I'd like to thank beer and daft punk's discovery album for their invaluable support in me staying up way too late to work on that thing. Calabi - Here's a larger version of the same image... I scaled it down originally in an attempt to hide some sloppy sculpting >.>
elte I friggin love that monster dude hah awesome woog, looks like someone's trying to squeeze him out of his armor through the slit in his helmet started an evening doodle and realized 30 mins later I'd sculpted an asari from mass effect :x
Hey Super, that's looking good. It's looking somewhat stiff and overly defined for something that's still in the gesture/form stage though. I think it would benefit the sculpt a lot if you left things a bit looser and rougher at this stage. The gesture is working quite well from the front and back though.
@JohnnyRaptor: Looks great! Can't wait to see it with tusks:D Going for a Duke Nukem inspired pig by any chance? Update time:) I would love some crits on this, only recently started sculpting/learning anatomy so any help would be golden. Lips look the most off to me.
What with all the awesomeness in here I'm afraid of ruining the page but here goes; I'm starting to practice seriously on head sculpting with reference. Right now I'm looking at it thinking, it doesn't look very good at all. Am I on the right track? Any particular areas that are in desperate need of attention?
damn great sculpts kite. they have good poise and weight too FAT_CAP, woogity yeah re the cloth stuff will post something really soon, probably just max file. I am sure some clever person could make a zbrush cloth sim tool though. that would be ace
