It's PVRTC or bust for iOS - because that's the chipset. Could you define "destroy" ? You can definitely tweak the settings. I've used PVRTexTool in the past: http://community.imgtec.com/developers/powervr/tools/pvrtextool/
i like prowlers :) :):) as the others suggested i think the silhouette can be pushed and defined some more working on the lowres, and maybe you can sculpt it in a more interesting pose. But it's nice nevertheless.
ugh, I wish they would launch something with Nvidia instead of the Intel HD ones. I have myself a Samsung Slate 7 and it IS great, but some GPU power would definately help.
The skull came out awesome, the only thing I can see is that the wood looks a little lumpy. I think you could make some sharper and more defined grooves in the planks.
Step 3: blocking in forms Primary, silhouette-defining shapes are the focus here. Especially when it comes to female characters, capturing the subtle, graceful lines are more important than detail in this step.
definately a permissions thing... i'll need to continue to work at it maybe ask cheese for a hand. progress is afoot. they do work properly for me, so we're almost there. look for more bukkit pluggins
I think this looks totally awesome. Definately getting better. My only criticism would be to make the breeding pods looks brighter and to have some indication that there's something growing inside of them.
Specular scale is defined in several VMTs, and from what I can tell it's just a specular multiplier! It just boosts the specular highlight. It's a multiplier, so the default value of 1.0 has no effect :)
