yeah, he's supposed to be kind of realistic. I followed closely to another model I saw online that looked right proportionally. I also realized his front legs were too far apart. I kinda want him with the big shoulders because that's what the client wants. Do his legs need to be longer?
*carl voice* oh hey, her legs look awkwoid to me, mr. food monsta, and i'm think'n a "clamp" or bolt 'n washa' arrangement for 'da leg arma' and those rubber wings 'dere. but dat's jus me. now, eh, hows bout you get outta my fricken pool now!
lol, looks cool, and looks like more fun that what im modeling (clouds intrecuit 6-piece sword) its annoying, but the one thing i noticed is that the front legs look.... more likethey were just streched out of the body, rather then actual legs, but if thats what ur going for then...nice work ^^
Either that, or the legs are too short. But compared to the size of the head, I'd say better make the legs longer. She looks like a petite girl, if not midget. Ideal proportions would be 8 heads tall, but I if you are to keep her figure short, then maybe make arms a bit shorter and move the hips up a bit.
Wow. Just... wow. This thread. ******************************************* A NOTE TO THE MEN IN THIS THREAD SUGGESTING THE WOMEN IN QUESTION ARE OVERREACTING: Trying to advise women on how to handle threats of physical violence by giving examples of how you or other men handle them is, at best, ignorant and useless. You do…
i have 3 maps. legs in front, legs in back/tail, and head/torso/tail. i separated the legsback/tail as a separate object and it worked fine. the head/torso is still not working. where is this "show map in viewport" button? thanks for your help again MOP. i'm sooooooo close!!! just one more map!!!!!!
I am not sure if you are using a light bake, or painting in the volume, but whatever process you used on the torso, needs to be followed up on the legs and arms. they feel really flat, like they just have line drawings over top, whereas there is some interesting volume in the chest and head. Try to get some of that volume…
Yep its better, your sculpting is clean (especially for someone sculpting form super sculpey, i do know how hard it is to maintain "solid" shapes), but i can't help but think he's lacking some length in the legs/hip area. Right know he looks super beefy on the torso, but short on legs.
Great tut! Altho i have a problem with the Generate Blue Channel action you posted, for some reason when I launch it over my flat TGA it starts, then when it load the 1st merge layer command there is a pop up message saying that the command "Merge layers" is not currently available. PS CS 1.
well i'm not really a professional model in wayway.. but if the model was placed in the front view, you'll notice that his legs is most likley to look than so the legs are basically pretty much flat on the side. after all hes supposed to low poly look on the model for now but I'll try and take a look at his arms.
