Welcome. Really good though maybe add some chips to the edge of the armour using the malletfast brush in Zbrush. Experiment with different alphas keeping in mind what could of possibly have done the damage. I'm guessing you're going to be adding the planks of word to the front of shield? Planning to make a weapon for this… -

I was thinking of taking it into Zbrush to deal with all the damage to the binding more or less like this instead of chamfering in Max itself. Perhaps make the grass thicker at the base and just add much more strands. You can make it more lush and still keep the worn/damaged look, just add some variety, more grass in one part, none or very little in another, longer and shorter and so on. You lost some color in the windows in the last update. I liked the orange.… -

If you're just pasting raw photos you're probably doing it wrong. I use plenty of photos in my work, but I treat them effectively as colors, and not "materials" - I'll build a piece of blue-painted metal with rust showing through out of multiple layers to paint the damage where I want, rather than using everyone's favorite… -

When you can't find crits on it anymore, it's super useful to give it a day or 2 aswell to bring fresh eyes to it. I remember when I was at uni I got ripped a new one by a professional graphic designer, so bad in fact people told him off for being over critical just because I went down an illustrative root to a poster…
