Cool can you post your solution for other people to see? Vertex color is supported, simply paint Red and Green vertices in Maya and export the mesh via FBX. On the shader enable Vertex Color and you should see the the blends being influenced by vertex color. -

I think your right about the cloth Goraaz, it should be falling down pretty much vertically from the hip. Will be trying to wrap the sculpt up tonight. Did a polypaint face test as well to make sure that the features will hold up once the character is texturerd properly. -

are you using CTRL X CTRL V maybe? I´ve never run into the problem you are describing, but then I am only using the default UV tools, not Senecas. It is however very easily solved... just to a minimum distance Weld Vertices and they should be connected again... -

Looking great man (Minus that really bright tree, that bugs the hell out of me). Foliage is so hard to figure out sometimes. I'd like to see you try something more complicated too. Like maybe vines growing upwards against a vertical surface. -

Your snow is looking really nice! I'm not an expert at all, but have you tried maybe using vertical brush strokes instead of horizontal for the grass? I don't really know if it would work, but might be worth a try :) The temple architecture looks very cool too! -

Great stuff, some really great modelling and texturing here. Only criticism I can find is that the hair seems a little flat in the stills; virtually no specularity. In the video also, the highlights run vertical, when hair usually has horizontal highlights (due to strand direction). -

UV editor window, on the right side under "Reshape Elements" click "Straighten Selection". It should straighten all of the edges and get rid of the slight bowing. You can also select individual edges and use the "Align Horiz/Vertical in place" inside of Quick Transform tools. -

...I used your meshes exactly, but created the cage in Maya (Edit Mesh>Transform Component, with vertices selected, until it completely encapsulated the high-poly. Then I softened the cages edges.) We received some requests to add filter to the search results. It is now available on the website. On the search result screen, there's triangle next to the search box. Click on the button, you'll see a list of filter you can choose from, e.g. file type, vertices, polygons count. -

I personally find sideways scroll bars more annoying than vertical ones. What if the big square icons of EdGaray's UI were half the size to fit all the map types on the window? It could be a highlighted toggle and RMB could open the options for that map type.
