Good read. The only thing I'd add is that it can be important when you post your work as well. For example, if I post something to Artstation at 11pm PST, most of the East Coast + Europe is sleeping.
Playing it on PS3. Much better looking than I was expecting from all the reviews dogging the console versions. I love the art direction. Really amazing world. Feels great to go around the world.
thanks man, yeah i agree about the nose bit- as for the ears, ive actually not started texturing them yet however there's an issue- i flattened the PSD and saved like an idiot. have to start again :/
Trailer was done by Axis Animation. Theres up to 4 player drop in/out coop, set on a desert island with limited weapons/ammo. Game is on Techlands Chrome Engine and is planned for a PC/360/PS3 release.
You dont need to export your photoshop files at all in unity. Just put your psd's in the Assets folder, and dont use transparency, create an 4th channel in photoshop which will be used as the alpha channel.
https://www.pinterest.com/Savannakhet/ Mostly hand painted stuff and concept. Also some nice brutalist architecture from the edge of Paris and a lot of Screengrabs from old PS1 era Squaresoft games and modern MMOs.
The panthers problem was raised on the Q&A. Ive non my work just on psd so i dont know how other with maya etc solved that problem. Nice to see the skins comming on well now.
Wow. Congrats, mate! Your pieces look really awesome. They game itself looks really really waseome!Ich bin shit bricks.) Uncharted is one of the reasons I'll get myself a ps3 someday.
Is this the third person cover based game thats pretty much gears of war with giant robots...? Hmmm.... Maybe it wont suck so hard afterall... The last good one was on PS2, and that wasn't perfect imo.
hmmmm make sure your psd/targa isn't bringing over an alpha channel. Also...doesn't sound like the issue, but if the material is a multi sub, make sure its set to the right material id?
