thx kenny :) phart: mh yeah, couple of strange pixels. might be some clipping that we didnt see. dont mention it to anyone :P polyly: I dont understand what you mean :/
Whoever did it should be proud :) The problem I see with raymarching , especially if done per pixel would be expensive. without seeing it closer its hard to tell, other than it looks really nice
Slowly chipping away at the hair for the main character: UE4's reliance on pixel depth offsets over actual normal map inputs for their hair shader is pretty brutal... textures and stuff are all WIP.
thanks, this is about as far as i can go www.rensedeboer.com/photography/steroidfly-big.jpg these are made with a sony cybershot 7.1 or so, as you can see, it becomes very pixelated and loses quality fast :S
Yeah. Some samsungs are great. but what i want is a 24 incher. Needs me some real estate on the screen. This one has PIP and 1:1 pixel mapping so thats cool.
there is a certain odd charm to them, I like how golfquestionmark has a sort of retro-but-updated look to it.. kind of what iteration games do for the old pixel 2d games http://www.iterationgames.com/main.html
no i seriously meant i need a job :P im tired of working 8 hours a day at a slab factory :poly122: @pixel masher: sounds like a plan ill try it out
I would center the website. Also I think your images are too large. Make them around 900 pixels wide, and then make it so you can click on them for a larger version.
considering most people claim to have little time, and there would be 3 models involved...sounds fair enough. low means you'd have to get the most of every pixel, and no friggin normal maps.
Monster had a MAXScript for this awhile back, but I don't see it on his site, so I uploaded the script here. I also barely recall someone using Photoshop to calculate unused pixels... ?
