My thougth would be that you've placed it as a kactor accidentially. When you select it does it display as 'staticmesh' down the bottom of the screen? you could also try right clicking on it and selecting 'convert to staticmesh'
I second McGreed. When you're trying to select things in Photoshop, it's a lot easier when you have a Color Map baked out so you can just Magic Wand selections
Export it out as a Static Mesh, and then load it up from "Brush>and select "Box" from the brush list. Select "Geometry" where it says box.cgf and browse for the folder that has your exported model file.
You can also weld selections, too. The shortcut for that is ctrl+W. Just select the UV points you want to connect, then hit that. There's also something called stitching, but I'm not certain as to how that works.
Could you use TexTools 'render the selected UV faces as mask to clipboard' function to make a selection of the shell(s) and then run Warp? Or, are you wanting the Warp matrix to have the flow(?) of the UV shell?
in maya 2008 only spot have shadowing select one, use shadowmap at 2048 resolution and in "lighting" menu select "shadows", you are free to use it on high quality rendering or only in normal viewport.
hi guys. I was trying to unwrap a basic sphere. The problem is this. Capture.PNG As u can see that whenever i try to grow the selection. Orange gizmo occurs and it is selecting polygons weirdly. Idk what is happening here. Need help here. Thanks! :smile:
Is the cube you want to cut through selected? It doesn't know where to cut when you don't select anything as far as I know. Could be wrong tho, I haven't used it in a few weeks.
The way I like to do those is on the base Mesh in 3dsMax, I select my border edges and use the make shape from selection. Then I edit the viewport rendering setting of the generated spline :) and voil
