Re: Max 8 Physique problem
You can convert Physique to Skin using a plug-in on the sparks site. http://sparks.discreet.com/downloads/ The Max 7 version works in 8. Seriously, you'll be happy you made the switch. I wrote my own script go back and forth between Skin and Physique if you can't get that to work. -
Re: feeling bad
I missed the Make Something Unreal deadline by 7 minutes last Friday because I forgot about the time-zone difference. After spending bucket loads of time on the thing I'm still a bit down about that one. :P Especially cause it's a gametype and there are no more phases of the contest with gametype categories. :( -

Cool, thx for the tutorials. I have a question though. Are these based off maya 7 or earlier versions, because my school uses maya 8 and I cannot find the "transfersurfaceinfo" pluggin. I think they might have replaced it with something else but I can't find any info on it in maya help. -

Day 7: Thanks for the critiques I want to do this in a week. I still don't like the mouth and I got more references. I added a bit more flab but kept it small. I tried to make it more round too. I am baking the textures now. Will post new images. -

:poly121: Jeez! The games the R* guys produce are excellent and achieve massive commercial success. BUT, that kind of work life is insane to me. You would have no life. I know some crunch time is common place in this industry, but two years of 18 hour days, 7 days a week is not right. Not for me thanks. -

I can't say how it is compared to others, as I haven't played many of this genre, but the length is around 6 to 7 hours or so. Depends on how well you can figure out the puzzles really. Also, don't read the PCGamer Review if you do, they give it a good score, but spoil a huge part of it. -

Re: Ball bounce animation, little problem
You need to set a scale key at the previous key. You might only have position keys set. Go to that frame select the scale channels in the Channel Box, and right click and Key Selected. If you only want the scale on frame 7 you'll need to set scale keys on frame 6 and 8.
