Well, either way, its a good practice mate. It looks pretty awesome. Organic stuff just needs to flow. Its like a toy,you know, where the diffrent parts arent directly attached and they sort of like rotate.
Very nice work. However the calfs look somewhat wierd, like they come down too far, or arent shaped quite right. I'm also curious as to why you constructed the shirt with all those wierd tri's in places.
yeah its good but the bloom is FAR too high, bloom should be barely noticable. there are a few other little bits that i dont like like some of the textures arent facing the right way but other than that its great
You are correct, the edges arent very soft. But the model overall looks kinda soft so i would recommend the double chamfer method in order to keep flat surfaces as flat as possible. Looks good overall.
I think it looks fine. Not on the level of Witcher 3 or The Order (let's be real, many arent.), but looks way better than Skyrim and the art direction looks great. My expectations were low and they exceeded them.
The maps really arent as chokepointy as they at first seam. And the secondaries (ie, the command posts) are VITAL. if you're being held up in a chokepoint, it's very likely the other team has the health command post and you don't. Snag it!
SPOILERS Ive noticed alot of people arent there anymore, I dont know what happened, but there were only an opening and closing cinematic to this game, usually there are 3, so that makes me wonder if there were production issues?
This is only a temporary removal. Besides, there arent that many engines out there that can compete with UDK. Cryengine can, but it is rather quite different than UDK. Knowing epic, they'll come back with something pretty damn incredible.
For the record people who have a problem with this thread probably arent hectic about r13's ones...but... I get the feeling R13 likes to get drunk :P I doubt its about kissing ass.
imo the lightness is fine. you don't want too much contrast in the diffuse of an object because it tends to lessen the effect of lighting. in real life things tend to have very flat diffuses that arent all that light.
