See, this is where I get confused (and I could be completely seeing this wrong), but isn't any rectangle put into perspective a square? Just depending on how wide / tall it is determines the perspective? I was under the impression that there was always at least one ellipse that fits into any rectangle. EDIT: Ok, after…
Looks like a normal smoothing problem. Check your smooth groups or your normal angles to make sure edges are hard where they need to be (the edges that border other modules) and soft where you want them to be. What it's doing is trying to "wrap" that light around some normals you have marked as smooth and that's the best…
tighten up the eyelids and focus more on the sculpts. i'm more interested in seeing the clay sculpts on these... just mpo ... although the <3 MM is awesome :) in particular on crashman, his eyelids don't really feel like they wrap over the form of the eye itself. the conjuctiva area should be more recessed. same for…
remember that the neck is a cylinder shape. It wraps around the trapizus. I would also go back and analyze you primary and secondary shapes. Are they in proportion to one another? For example take a long look at your ears and compare them with your reference. from the front prepective are they the correct size? are they in…
I found the concept you were basing from to try and get a better idea of what that blue part is, but it's still hard to tell lol. :poly122: I think that's really going to be a judgement call for you on what kind of material you would like it to be. It could even just be some kind of leather or stone lol I have no clue…
Nintendo has been experimenting with more out-of-the-box multiplayer with their SpotPass system, but they are stilled quite backwards when it comes to dealing with the internet. They still haven't really gotten their minds wrapped around how to deal with on-line infrastructure possibly. Just baby steps with Miiverse…
Well, there is always the AD Janna build. Just smack them with your staff a lot *chuckles* I'm pretty sure it will look really cool in the end, I just personally can't wrap my mind around the idea because I'm so used to her being a protector/healer support. Her tornado however would fit quite well with a lightning/fire…
you know, i honestly expected that to work.. haha. but even with anti aliased off in maya, photoshop magic wand still selects everything (and contiguous checked). i may start using this once i wrap my head around transfer maps. alternatively now im just baking in xnormal, so there's an option for "bake diffuse texture"…
@TouijriHamza @henrykuh I hadn't really noticed, but I can see it lol XD @yararstss Thanks! I made sure to pick someone whose backstory aligned with being a hunter and Varus just so happens to be hunting down every last Noxian who messed with his people. @sstoev Thank you :) I was suppose to block out most of his gear…
I have used this method myself a fair bit, though I tend to use the overlay blending mode. Also good for removing light differences in textures when used with a higher high pass value. But, imo it could as easily ruin stuff for you as it tends to drive it towards a plastic wrap type of look, and gives a white fringe. But,…
