Off the original topic but is there any disadvantage to say modeling a road cone, and doing the whole process texturing etc by itself, and then another item like say the barrel and so on an so forth, verses, making them all in one project and doing their UVs and textures together in one file?
Captain Nemo's diving helmet: A couple of minor issues to fix, but I'll be revisiting each asset prior to baking to make sure everything's ironed out. Since the rifle and the helmet are intended to be player-collectible items, here's the helmet mounted as it will appear in the office: Thanks again for everyone's feedback!
You are right, I may have to adjust the FOV to make it look less spares, but I am going to get most of the items in first and see how it looks and adjust from there. Well noticed though. Bit of a lighting update, new beds, textures, rug, plates and stuff :)
How is not "Lan Parties/Work/and Coffee Shops". Places where I expect to do some 3d or game work pointless? Is the webrowsing easier simply because the netbook is larger for you to see? Curious, what about like a android tablet as that would be the combination of both your items.
Hi Oliver ! Thank you for the comment! Actually I did think the same with you .Since its just a piece of anatomy study not a portfolio item so I didn't add that element. But it's definitely a great idea.I would do it if I want to add it in my portfolio. :D
I'd rather see proposal #1. I think that being able to create one item from start to finish in a set of consecutive workshops would be better than having a bunch of high poly models just sit on your drive for a while until the next set of workshops.
Three items represent the show. Jade Claws (collab with Sebastian) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=376588160 Verge of Blossom (collab with Sebastian) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=374440930 Labrys of the fly cloud (collab with Moffee)…
Here's another sketch with concept of the weapon and items that this characters carry with him. I thinks I have the general idea of what I want for this Diabolic skin, So i think I'll start with the 3D Sculpting, besides, I like to develop the concept when I sculpt on it.
Thank you for the reply. Well simple but not too simple. I want to learn so a slight challenge is more than welcome. Maybe intrior items, small outdoor stuff etc. Things that can be completed within a week. Modelling all the way to texturing and rendering. Appreciate the help.
I don't understand, the orange particles are only active when Jinada is ready by default. That's what the importer should already do for you. If it's constantly on when you test the item ingame, I think that's just a problem with the testmap. As long as the particles are positioned correctly, they will work correctly…
