Hey thanks a lot, that looks like something i can definitely latch on and make some progress :D (Watching rest of it as we speak) Also, is this a right place to post your progress? I'm not entirely sure :D Once again, thanks a lot for your help!
I would just like to state that Mark Benford is a little bitch. Why rush towards a future that has masked gunmen aiming their guns at you? What a little bitch drama queen. Also HATE that they are dragging out D-Day over two episodes :D
so when you say "i like to think i added some flavor to what could have been a rather drab concept." you mean you added some cock! :D so the plan is to animate the cock bouncing up and down too then? :D
my college roomates were all pretty awesome and I'm still friends with them today. Actually they all ended up moving to the same area but a few weeks ago Tim, Enoc and Michelle all moved away thus ending the weekly D&D session

Presentation quality FTW! :D . I'm going to slap some new paste on my comp tonight while the night is still young. Then just set up the Final bake. Then get a decent nights sleep for once while my computer slaves away :D
Thanks for the feedback. This is actually just the High Poly right now, so no texture or anything. The shot was actually taken inside Maya's viewport. I just threw a couple of spot lights in there :D I will update my final HP 2maro. Again thanks :D
thank you i changed the face a bit, to reduce tris here and there, should work just fine :) here he is :D the low poly, with normal map applied and the base colors, nothing to fancy :D i hope i will finish him, within this week
a suggestion for the hi-poly exporting: a checkbox that would convert maya sub-d into polygons and smooth them and export and leave model back as sub-d. doing that process by hand when exporting meshes for xnormal sometimes can get really annoying and time consuming
Thank you! :D hehe, well I put a shorter tail in the Leader design to have a resemblance with the minion alien. Both have similar characteristics to give the sensation that they are part of the same specie. Also there are a lot of examples of aliens with tails :D ... the most famous one:
