Hey davidosterlind! Thanks for the input I've been messing with the normals a bit, but I was worried it was beginning to look a bit to rubbery so I toned it down some. I'll continue to sharpen it up some though. :)
Thanks Millenia! Here a small Update. Added the Magwell (Was one of the hardest parts of this gun, lol..OpenSubDiv FTW) Whats left: Magazine with Bullet, to finish the trigger, polishing the details...and then MAYBE some attachments. To be continued!
I'd love to do these, I've been super busy with school, I do have plans to continue this series and my channel, but working on a game and being in school has been really difficult to keep up with.
the first thing i can think, is that you need the hair colour to continue in the albedo map even after the alpha ends... essentially what's happening is that the alpha is softening and toolbag is rendering the black pixels in the albedo.
I will continue to work hard, I am currently still render the animation, 3dmax render time is very long, it makes me feel after the completion of the animation, you must learn engine technology.
Try doing a <br> tag between each of the images so they follow a vertical flow. Currently, when I maximize my browser (Chrome), they fill up the screen left to right, then continue to the next line.

For the motivation, it may sound stupid but you can find a lot of Motivational Speeches and videos on youtube. It personaly help me a lot when I want so stop but I force myself to continue working :-)
CryEngine is undoubtedly my favorite looking engine. Very glad to see it free again. Got to get back into the swing of things. I'm hoping they continue improving it a lot, and working out the workflow kinks and quirks.
