Tor'ing? Frick'ing? He didn't invent it but he did make it popular with his minimalist approach to his Sci-Fi scene. He uses a lot of UV tricks but the entire scene uses 2 256*512 textures and makes good use of this technique.
-Zest Apartments -Snefers Sci Fi Slum Somone also did some really bad ass ATV vehicle thing. I posted in that thread so let me find it and I'll edit this. Edit: Here we go riddlaz War Buggy
Maybe they'll change the name from SyFy back to Sci-Fi. If they do that they have my support. While they're at it, maybe they can buy McDonalds and gamar correct their slogan because "i amz stiil nert lubin" their butchering of the English language either.

will try cavity map. I was wondering how to do something like that. Currently, he is textured to be a sculpture, but I will take all of your suggestions into consideration when retexturing it to be a live creature. Digging the sci-fi suggestions. Maybe I'll do a 40K version!
Yeah I'm sure it will get patched. I have noticed it too. It's quite bad to be honest. But I've had so much more fun with the game I don't care. And man those sci fi / techy looking consoles on the left are super sexy!!!
I know this probably has been asked tens of thousands of times, but what do you guys think? If I want to model hardsurface sci-fi characters and do great environments, what do you think is better?
Currently i am working on a cross platform game and theme is to kill the zombies with your car. Its combination of Sci fi theme and parkour gameplay. Just finished with basic prototyping and now moving forward with assets development. Here is the WIP of car model.
i am doing a sci fi based basement interior in unreal engine but having problem with lighting the scene as directional light just cut through the back face of the model having this wierd shadows from above and if this is not the proper way how do i light the scene
