Unfortunately there is no settings file for the baking parameters. We are working on being able to read settings from an external files for the batch tools, this functionality may come to SD soon after.
there should be a hardware subforum or a sticky with the common hardware for a good rig for 3D. I have repeated myself several times. Why don't you guys use the search function?
I will try that next, Vig. Sorry I didn't really understand your first post. Now I realize you were listing the three skeletons and their functions. Thanks!
Okay, after a lot of head banging I've figured this out. I'll post a breakdown of what exactly goes on later if anyone is interested. Essentially it hinges on the refs.dependents function though.
You can do sinusoidal functions in Filter Forge. For example http://www.filterforge.com/filters/6927.html You might also be able to get it to tile, but I kind of doubt it.
using full, real names as usernames on forums make people come off like douchebags, just sayin. just pick something and stick with it. mine isn't good but it functions.
maya has a built in packing function and so does UVLayout - they dont exactly tell you how much space you are wasting but they will pack the UV's together as efficiently as possible.
Mailed you that animstrip builder. However, I just tried out the function in XnView that Vig posted above, and it's far superior. Handles a lot more file formats too.
Are you using a cintiq 12 or 21 inch. On my cintiq 12wx the Wacom Tablet Properties (Accessed through the start menu) allows me to edit the function of all the keys.
