I turned to raw already. Idk man, such a pain dealing with these maps! Hopefully in the near future people will start adopting Unreal's workflow.

Imo edge decals are the way to go, support loops comes second. Bevels are just nasty as they require weighting and LODs become a pain

Align edge should take care of a big chunk of the mesh with spin edge left to take care of whatever faces need to be isolated.

These are really seriously fantastic. I know the pain and trouble it takes to throw together procedural materials but I've never made ones this nice.

its a nice effect but i'd expect some kind of painful animation during the transformation rather the just a smooth blend between the two.

Its just a bummer that Rizom to Maya Bridge doesnt work with multiple objects selected. Which is a pain in the ass to bring back to maya.
