if developers were worried about being sued for, or even pulled up on, for lifting the style and look of other characters/environments, someone would have pulled the plug on Warcraft a long time ago -

I made it as a standalone filter, you load it in your software (I usually use Substance Player) then input your un-normalized texture, set the parameters you want (output resolution, bit depth, and file format) and save the normalized file. -

I heard a rumor that if someone from Blizzard says anything about anything, they get sued for a million dollars and their first-born son gets taken away from them. It could explain the silence. -

You don't need a contract to sue somebody for slander - it wouldn't make sense to add this to a contract, unless you want to sue them for breach of contract on top of suing them for slander. But that's rather ridiculous. -

there was a company doing a free DBZ mod awhile back,the second the company who owns DBZ caught wind of it they sued like the wind and the mod makers had to dump all of their content related to the show -
