You'll be skinning(or skin wrapping) the clothing items to the same skeleton as the character. Then you import the character[to engine] and choose the skeletal mesh on import. Then for every item that you import to engine you can choose the same skeleton as the character's. -

Any kind of sci-fi is a lot of different types of architecture. Just choose one that you'd like to do and stick to it. Maybe choose a movie visual that you like and see if you can recreate it. -

Good progress! Re: Histogram There are not tools in Unreal to update the lighting from histogram. It's more of a general tool for you to know where your values fall compared to your reference. Or if they are too dark/bright/not using the whole range. You can get the histogram in any image editing software like Photoshop… -

So what would you have the 3D window do? Auto-load the lowpoly, and then have toggles to load and display the highpoly, or load and display the maps? That way you wouldn't have to wait for textures or geometry to load, the lowpoly files load pretty fast to display anyway. I just think it seems a bit of a waste to have the… -

On the Panel menu, choose Panel > Saved Layouts > Four View. You can always change the view pressing and holding the Space Bar Clicking and holding on Maya (the center item) and hence, choosing the view you want. -
UNITY3D: Need simple coding
I need help trying to input number's into the coding here is what I'm trying to do: If you press the number one it will choose a weapon. If you press the number one again it will choose another weapon. The cycle continues as you keep pressing the number one. -

If a Cintiq is in your budget get it! If I had to choose my Cintiq or my left hand...I would choose the Cintiq. The only downside is that its causing a rift in my marriage, as my wife get jealous of my relationship with Cintiqua :poly136:
