Yeah I made some alphas in photoshop using some floral brushes, than used them as stencils in mudbox. Once I got the patterns thrown on I went in with the sculpt brush to bring out some of the details I liked - it was a lot of fun to make.
whilst your sculpting is completely badass, i just wonder how scratches would get into such deep crvices i mean someone would've had a sword and he blocked it with the mace.. but i dunno. Think you will be able to rig and mega cool action poses?
aesir: Nope, I just posed it tonight (which is why there's clipping errors and floating bits and weird bulges all over the place). I've exported the lowest subdivision from Transpose Master into Max, rigged it with Biped so I can easily pose/animate the base mesh and bring it back into ZBrush. So now I just need to settle…
cool work guys, really love those drawings Larolaro & great head sculpt again Adam! Is that tali from me 2 slaught? silhouette looks tops cool squirrel Rens prepping a few leaves and thorns to tangle up in the forest guys beard and armour
@deathbychris I love the color pallet for that alien guy @evillair nice sculpts man, those hellraiser ones are spot on, but the giger one looks kinda mushy... @Pior the image actually saved as "210_realsize" thanks for the positive feedback on this :), it shall have its own thread soon.
Sculpting a Stone Furnace for class. I'm liking my shapes but I feel some of my bricks are too smooth. Need to make those edges harder and definitely go to go in and add some chipping to them once I fix the interior to how I like it.
james9475 - thats awesome, saw it on kotaku aswell :) massbot - lovely sculpts, looking forward to more richikiller - awesome folds, maybe too much geo in the hands though thanks guys :) pretty much done on the high poly now, few folds to sort out still :)
TBH is To Be Honest:) TNO I just think if stuff needs sculpting then scuplt it, but the beak came out looking a bit melty so in my book it would be better to model that sub d, then for the body, you could a little hint of feathers for the sculpt.I did something similar here
