Wow, I'll get to that point (someday!), and thanks for sharing this, so cool those roof tiles! Now I will show the first result I got with my own rma texture (this was a very quick texture, it need much more work yet.) So please take a look... It's suppose to be like this? Right? Thanks again! ^^
So it's done for now. Needs refinement, I'm not sure about the texture on the roof tiles. Doesn't look very good I don't think. Also re-thinking a couple others. I obviously need to learn to light scenes and learn how to do normals because have zero clue on either of those in Max.
I don't love the wood pieces stuck on the wall below the roof piece. It doesn't look right to me. Maybe make that a different sort of plaster or something? Also, I think that some good weathering and grunge would make this piece pop out really well. Right now it's a little uniform in coloration and lighting.
Hey I just wanna say you've got a beautiful piece here but architecturally it doesn't make any sense. You've got a series of MASSIVE pillars that are holding up a paper thin roof that suddenly connects to a skylight without much base support. I'd suggest trying something more like this (forgive the quality)
Here is set number 2, living area, this is supposed to give a clean and spacious/open feeling I need to fix a little part on the bulkheads meeting the floor, looks a little odd atm. Overall feel Window curved beams Window block beams Wall Wall open pannel Door Bulkhead Floor Roof
really nioe ! you captured the concept look ! all left is some birds in the background and mayhe a slight fish eye lense effect like in the concept , great job ! as a personal preference id make the roofs even more orange or in a way you can distinguish them easier from the remaining building texture. this looks great !
getting a bit of deus ex vibes from this scene, which is very good in my book. I like where this is going. Not a fan of the ceiling texture though.. what kind of roof is that? too busy pattern, and too clean. I'd rather see a less intense pattern with really subtle wear/color differences. keep at it!
another quick update, i've fixed up the rear wheels and sorted the roof. The rear wings are also bigger and fit with the car more. also added in the thrust vector nozzel and the zigzag under the window. Also fixed the ring on the back to a more horse shoe shape, and cut out a gap at the bottom of the jet thruster casing.…
B - 7.5 (needs bottom part of the pillars plus stair wideness from c to get closer to 10) EDIT - the more i look at B i decide the roof shape and edge lip part isnt as good as C either. so i drop Bs rating to 7.5. C - 7 A and D 1-2ish
Yeah I agree. It's like re-doing a movie (well at least the origin) which was done a few years ago (10 years off the top of my head - give or take). The roof scene was OK, good from his perspective (come on 3d glasses!). Good to see what direction they take this this guy as the lead.
