I've watched a few tutorials now, good ones from places like Digital Tutors (for example), and Modo will do bad things to the mesh and the guy has to fix it. For those of you who never have trouble, I am jelly. :) But the problems go away with a button press so no biggie... -

digital download in uk costs £700 plus £100 tax. So thats £308 more than I originally expected. :( Is there a monthly cloud membership so that I can pay in affordable installments? Otherwise its going to be a very long time before I can buy maya lt. -

I'd recommend gnomon workshops totorials. Not that I'm pro - far from it, but I've learnt a lot from them. I can't stand some of the digital tutors vids since the narrator has a really annoying voice (I think he talks through his nose). BuCC - slightly redicilous. -
