I am not a freelance artist so take this with a grain of salt but if I am correct freelance artists base it on estimated amount of hours it will take for you to finish, and then the difficulty of the piece.
In general, I think you could economize alot better. The amount of geo you have going on in the arms and the shoulders, and partly the chest, seems to be almost twice of what is required.
You ladies need to change into your patience panties. Its just a free contest for teh funz. No matter when it starts, we'll all have the same amount of time.
im mostly concerned about the large amounts of alpha on the ground tiles. Where the iphone falls down isnt the polycount it is the fillrate. whats your target iphone generation. 3gs?
Looking good! While AO shouldn't techincally be in the diffuse, I have put a small amount of it into most of my projects. I don't really see the problem if it looks good?
Small changes here. I hope to get a bit more done when I get a larger amount of free time. Still missing arms and a legs, then on to the details. WIP02
