Yeah, I hope the system is more like how Redpower 2 mod is, gotta LOVE the redwires vs redstone. I also wondering how much is randomly generated and how interaction with the space vs planets are going to be, is each planet going to be sort of a minecraft world, or are you just floating outside the planets?

Texture update, fixed lighting errors and added detail! As far as the arms, the ones in the back have sockets. each arm is a floating mesh, but I should probably connect the front arms Just a little more working the texture, and then I'm gonna move on to swords! (So tempting, I wanna do them now!!)

I've been working in Z brush to sculpt the 2 creatures floating next to the ceiling in the concept. Not done with this asset yet. This is just the adaptive skin at level4 after retopology. I just wanted to post something. I know the head is different. I changed it because the original design didn't read well in 3D

You need to work on your proportions, i have the feeling your current version is looking more like a men than a woman and i think your armor should follow her sillhoute instead of floating above her. :) I made you a quick paintover to show you what i mean:

has anybody played with the direct x fur shader in max, and know what the hell the sample scrollers are for. or maybe know it there is a better one floating around out there. and thank you boys, for the animators out there, once it is done and rigged i think i am going to post him up for people to grab and play with.
That's not pointless. Smoothing errors are an obvious sign that someone is new at sub-d modeling. The model looks good aside from the errors that have been pointed out. It would be nice to see the details that should be etched into the side of the gun above the trigger guard. You could do them with floating geo really…
