Looks great overall. Though the edge and tip are not very sharp, does not look to be able to pierce armor. Use Imgur to host your images, and post using the code provided on their site. It is not very user friendly to view attached images.
The problem is that rocks like that are rough and rigid where your armor is somewhat filigree (sp?) and deforms. Also, I don't think you're doing yourself any favors with that hue of rock since it doesn't fit into ES's color palette.
The design is looking better, I like the addition of the shoulder and arm armor, great job. However I would try something else in place of the bullet belt, doesn't make much sense with a giant sword wielding chick. =P
Thank you :) I got the claws and wings done and eksported but got busy before adding them to max, will do that today. Also gonna sculpt some stuff like broken armor, old tree and piles of treasure for the cave :)
This is a character , I did a little while ago , I called him Joe the Barbarian:). For this one I actually did the concept drawing . I still need to finish the hand painting of the armor and I'll call it done :) . http://victorchassaigne.blogspot.fr/
Spent quite awhile tonight iterating on something for the shoulder armor. I knew I wanted something with a evil demon face in it....but it was hard coming up with a good balance of ornate detail and organic demon face. This is what i landed on.
Great pilot design he definitely matches his vehicle. Do those leg pads act as bullet armor? I love how the wings protrude in front of the nose. The mask is a little generic but maybe that's a good thing for balance.
God damn it, just when I was ready to get off the internet. Now I gotta F5 this thread all night. Some really amazing work you all have done! Hoping for some hunter armor shots ;)
What if the vehicle is a type of spirit that shape shifts weapons, armor, and other mechanical pieces to form a vehicle, that is powered by the spirit. The spirit in some sense is the vehicle, but is controlled by a magic user/summoner that is the driver. Too obscure? Answer: That's for you to decide :)
Thanks a bunch! had to go out of town for a bit, worked on refining proportions on the base mesh- trying to compare it to their model on the LOL model viewer. Also did a paint over to get some of the armor design and patterning more refined...
