Hi! Stilobique is very correct, some functions are currently not working on non us versions of PS, really sorry about this we are working on fidning a solution for this!
Very nice work! The mechanically functional aspects of your design are well thought out. Your texturing adds to the industrial military feel of the finished piece.
Cool choice of reference, looks like a great start :) Are you planning on texturing it like the dilapidated one, or doing a proper functioning clean-ish version?
I'm not familiar with that Max function, what I meant is that it doesn't rotate on mouse pointer position, only zoom/dolly do that? Better try it for myself :)
Polyunwrapper might have such a function, not sure though since I'm away from Max.. http://www.polytools3d.com/polyunwrapper/index.html Highly recommendable either way!
Anyone compare this to Picarto yet? It's certainly more professional from the outside looking in (aimed at a different audience anywho, but wondering how it compares function-wise).
Could have used the search function. There was already a thread on this recently with some good info: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1514048&postcount=1
The easiest way would be to stop using seams! Select edges and 'break' them, then use peel/relax. Wtf are seams for anyway? that useless pelt function?
