well, good thing you're only 'trying', those 3d models look just terrible... NOT! they look freaking amazing, dude! But I'm not surprised on the very least because people who are good 2D artists usually do really well at 3D. Anyway congrats! Hope to see more! *saves screenshots to concept art folder (for inspiration)*
You can open your 3dsmax.ini (in the base 3dsmax folder) and look for lines like: [MtlEditorPosition] [RenderDialogPosition] The first 2 numbers after those will be the location of the window's top left corner in pixels, X Y. Change those to something like 0 0 and restart Max. The windows should appear in the top left of…

Im going to be in San Fran Wed afternoon to Saturday evening. Speak of portfolio, i do not own an iphone nor psp. So would it be the best if I were to print out shots of my assets and put it in a folder with plastic pages? I figure it'd look kinda lame if I were to walk around with my laptop.
does the cli one work, i never used the gui one i just drag my *.qc onto the cli one, or depending on the 3d package im using i make the smd exporter execute the compiler on export. also have you considered removeing source sdk in steam than deleting all it's folders in steamapps and reinstalling.

1.) download 2.) unzip with winrar 3.) put the "Max_Retopo.mse" file into any folder 4.) go to 3dsmax 5.) hit F11 (max script listener) 6.) go within that listener file > run script 7.) select that "Max_Retopo.mse" and hit open or run 8.) you should see the floater thats one way to do it

There are several alpha and double sided / shadow problems. But if you have a read through the marmoset thread you should be…
Maybe you get lucky and someone knows the answer, but you'll probably have better chances asking this in the agisoft forums. For me, it's been years since I used the software. Might simply be a bug. Try rendering only with CPU/GPU if that's an option. As for other possibilities: So you redid the whole project as well (you…
