Also, I tried opening said PDF... and it said that a font was fucked, and there was insufficient data for an image... direct quote about the image thing... then all the images seemed to make a jigsaw puzzle effect. overlapping one another and just being a giant pain in the ass.
@Moran - you upload your image files on to an image hosting site like Photobucket. And when you write your post, you go to "insert image" then paste the link. Jo! Silhouette is looking great. I think you nailed the volume of the character.
Yah, I was going to say its the image thats making it larger. We're actually going to be running some software that'll automagically resize images to fit within the 1024x width and supply a sexy method of viewing the full-size image. thx notman.
Hello everyone, welcome to the Bi-Weekly Substance Challenge. How it works * Every 2 weeks a new reference will be shared to be recreated, you are also encouraged to find your own reference, as long as it still fits the topic for that bi-weekly substance, for example if we share a mud reference, you can gather you own mud…
Hi! Thank you for your feedback; it’s much appreciated. You're right about the importance of proportions and context. During my research, I discovered that the placement height for stop signs can vary between 2 to 7 feet, based on the specific usage and location. While I didn’t model this after a single reference image, I…
sRGB isn't too hard, but most of the definitions are very technical.. because its a technical subject. Of course technical doesn't have to be dry and jargony, which is where they likely fall apart. The quick and dirty of it is: its an encoding scheme to make images look right on CRT monitors or old TVs. Its been around…
https://gumroad.com/countvertsalot I've been working on this for awhile now. I think I have developed a great way to learn anatomy. It will take a lot of work, but you get to skip all the dead ends and wasted time that I and many others had to go through. The basic idea is that I allow you to get past the first major…
Better to embed images. To embed an image in your post, either drag and drop it, or use the Insert An Image button. If you save your UVs as a PNG that will make the background transparent. If you save as JPG, it will remove the transparency, since JPG doesn't support alpha.
Textures are great, I like the graffiti and grime. You can improve the showcase imho, show more closeups and dont be afraid to split an image like this into two separate images. You have a lot of empty space and the assets themselves are relatively small on the image.
agree with satan. plus why do u do the text as image!?! u might aswell make a 4x2 block of images leave the text at that point for the sake of a big overview of all. getting rid of unnessacary images things could look simpler and stuff
