I wish I could find the image but there's a photo comparison between L.A. and Shanghai showing that Shanghai had the same amount of growth in 10 years that L.A. had in 100
i repeat, i can't really tell by the amount of points it has in there. + by optimised i mean getting most of the splines down to 2 or 3 points and having them smooth
I find that I always have to manually play with the color of my metal materials as well as the amount of roughness/metalness in the Properties panel to get the desired result I want.
Indeed, there are people on ZBrushCentral (boozy_floozie for example) who make illustrative art entirely in ZBrush (with maybe a small amount of PS touch-ups here and there), try doing that stuff in Mudbox ;)
yea I reset the cage, sometimes it got all messed up. I use "amount" under push for the cage but not "percent". also does tolerance affect anything? thanks.
nice work. For future reference, you've got a sizable amount of wasted space on your maps and could pack them much tighter than that to maximize your texture usage.
Look at the renders, we arent quabbling pedantically over millimetres here - it is a very noticeable amount. Especially considering this is something which is gonna be taking up 1/4 of the screen.
The insane amount of detail is awesome! That mask is going to look sweet when normal mapped! question: you started with the mask, did you make the head first? or start on the googles.
One could probably use the joint angles/cones as a cue for when to switch on certain wrinkles. But yeah, the amount of maps needed would be quite an army for the average piece of cloth.
