Are you using the Brush presets? or are you adjusting the Strength/Radius/Falloff yourself? If you are using the presets, note that all of them have their strength set to 100. -

i'd give him cel borders. duplicate his mesh, push modifier and then flip normals, give it a black material and push the self illum up to 100% -

Quite silly that it must be primarily 3d when all of the classic DnD images they mention are 100% 2d. I guess non-character modelers need not apply. -

I bought mine refurbished from Wacom. It was 100$ below the new price, and had a warranty, etc. I've had it for at least 3 years, and not a single hicup! -
