The color variation in the ground really helps sell the scene, but if this is looking "into" the forest, then I wouldn't expect to be able to see out to the horizon line, even if you just take some flats and panel it off back there, but something to make it look like the forest goes on forever. Looking pretty good. Most anvils are rounded on the horn. Also, the way you have damaged the anvil seems like the anvil is made of a softer metal. These things are made to take a beating. Things that make it seem soft : The long slits, these should probably be a lot shorter, a razor blade wouldn't harm an anvil like that… -
