I don't believe I ever posted about it, but the website was updated to reflect database updates as well as a new method of displaying the database. It can now be sorted, filtered, and searched which may further aid those looking for work or just for those that are curious.
Update on some of the areas taking place in Anura! Revisiting a few areas, bringing more life into our scenes, here's what we've done so far! Here's an updated look of some of the characters in Anura! Hope you guys like mutant frogs.

For those not following the forum thread ( http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78621 ), there have been many updates since this article. The docs have been started at http://wallworm.com/projects/utilities/docs/ . There is also an updated video in the forum (also on the docs page).
If by colour ID you mean you used the square dropdown box (Not Shift+click) in 3do then it might be the same as / related to this bug: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144357 which the stability update doesn't yet fix. Not that you shouldn't update anyway :)
It's the new update model, like in Substance Painter - yearly versions, but 4 quarterly updates per year with new features. Though painter got loads of new procedural maps, 3dsmax gets a wood map..it feels like a joke. Not even the bare minimum.
More updates, more updates! Getting a lot of time to work on this stuff in the evening, and I'm really feeling like things are coming together. Hope you guys agree :D Probably gonna throw a window on this bad boy then start on the many many trophies!
*Updated First Post with more Pictures* @Snader : I took a silhouette of my model into phoshop and added some more details, which I then built into my mesh (paying special attention to the head). Here is the model as it stands now: more updates to come!
Update to v1.05.14 Sorry for the long wait for this update, took me little while to figure out where the bug was... :p It's just a bug fix release. (the app would crash when either entering the files tab or changing a setting in the application... making it useless)
