you need to shift your overlapped parts to +1 U or V (makes no difference). Keep the cage close to the highPoly. also can we have a screenshot of your hp and lp ?
Ow yeah since it's just the highpoly i'm slowly building i think i dont care for the moment right? I will start the lowpoly from scrach and in a clean way later :)
Here is the highpoly. I know handle is a bit different from original version. I love the sharp look of it so i kept it. Kinda adds more "life" to it. And please comment.
Wow sick stuff! Noob question, but for when creating your low poly. For the parts that has the cylinder shape. Did you just reused ur highpoly and just reduce the polycount for it?
So here's where i am at right now. Just about to finish the highpoly and going to model the assets : sword and the backpack. Any thoughts about the character? CC Always welcome
EVERYTHING is made with just a lowpoly. Not a single highpoly model sofar, except for the basetexture (and that is just because thats how i roll, could have done it in nDo in 15 minutes probably...)
Final highpoly sculpt. Everything will be refined through the lowpoly textures. Can't do more subdiv since my laptop start lagging if done further. Well, onto retopo-ing !!
Completely awesome I wanna see more plz, looks great liek a quick scout, the only thing is theres a dimple on the highpoly face in the middle at the top of his nose. Cheers!
Splodger, thanks :) And I'll look into a way of making the engine thing a bit bigger in some aspects :) Oh whoops, I forgot to mention that this model is the highpoly ^^ Will be working on the lowpoly sometime this week :)
