That's Castlevania for you, but to be honest.. It's not meant to be a 1-player game, it's really 2+. It's a really great game if you actually play it how it's supposed to be played. The character progression is the only issue I have with the game, it doesn't necessarily explain how each character progresses.. But once…
Work in progress #1 I found this concept by Banderlog on cghub.com. It is like a Waiting Room. This is where the character would find out what happened and such. http://cghub.com/images/view/90593/ My work in progress is the pillar, I started on this piece because it seemed to pop out at me the most. Crit welcome.
Update on the turret, I have the Missile tubes and tube case 90% complete Here's the progress. Progress on the turret is quite slow since I'm eyeballing from reference which I haven't done much of. I'm also trying to steer as closely to the rel thing as possible, save for very minuscule details.
Horns and face have been adjusted and I'm just working in the details, also added the feet armour. I'll post an update later today as i am having troble making progress since zbrush always crashes when i try save my progress. anyway have same trouble?
Please don't judge any of the following image too harshly, it's all in a state of work in progress. Just sharing the evenings work. -Skin shader currently sucks -Skinning is terrible and super fast (Thus the pose is laughable :P ) -Textures are all work in progress -No real shader work done yet either.
Is the level textured and modeled by you or is it built with UT modules? Sorry for being a little noobie here.. Never spent a single second with UT.. Looking good though (: A actually thought of staring a progress thread/blog. And i think i will, first a feedback thread that's kinda panic, then a real progress one :P
Hello, again Polycount here's an update on progress. Since my last post, I have improved the blockout by adding some curved parts to make it less blocky. Created a blockout design I'm happy with for the Cinema with the 'A' Framed Structure. Modelled and uv'd the Escalator, Handrails and Floor Tiles, Textures are still work…
Here's the latest with a little more personality. Again, any comments would be much appreciated. I'm determined to get better everyday and prove myself as a valuable asset in the industry. Thanks for taking a moment to look at my progress!
I wrote this a while ago in response to a thread about feeling lack of motivation for projects. It seems to be pretty relevant again several months later, so I'm posting it as a standalone post/topic: One of the most common questions I see in art and design communities comes from beginning artists who want to know: How do…
IMHO I would rather start by enquiring with the shop if they can even process polygon models at all ; because if they can't then the time spent sculpting in Zbrush would be wasted. But if they can, then you could get some example files from them to see how they set them up : do they need a thin surface, or a thick slab,…
