SLI is a waste of money, the performance gain is slim and the cost increase too large to justify. More video RAM means you'll be able to choose higher texture resolutions for much longer. @Chronic: RG's technique works by adding detail normals to existing ones. It's kinda similar to embossing. New normals are stamped down on top of your old ones, but their orientation isn't changed. Yeah I actually have this problem too, I lose interest after the modeling stage. The only way I could finish my portfolio was to actually build a model and then take a break from it and build something else. When I had enouhg models for a portfolio I went back and finished the earlier works this kept me from getting bored.… -
