Hi ! I'm back with my pumpkin man, this time completely finished :) I struggled a bit with the texturing and the final composition, but I'm pretty happy with the actual result. C&C is still more than welcome :) Here's the final render in Marmoset : The wireframe The final sculpt
I love your 2D work and your 3D work isn't so far behind I think! A little suggestion would be to post more wireframe, there are some pretty amazing artist there that could give you tips on this too :) looking forward to see more!
I learned how to do some beauty shots :) For this type of thing, Is it better to use the smoothed wireframe or the one that is subdivided? I'll delete from this post the one less suitable. And if you see something to be improved about the topology or in general, please let me know :)
Hi, I'm currently doing the same thing ATM but still on stage 1 (base mesh) your hands look rather near on your base, don't suppose you could display a wireframe? Overall nice work, youve improved alot from the crit
@jeffry Here's the wireframe, it's a bit of a mess at the moment, most of it is still low poly. For the renders, I used blenders bevel shader. The welds are just cylinders with a displacement modifier. I'll probably switch out the texture for something that looks more like welds but it works for now.
Cool idea for a project :) I don't know what you're modelling in, but to help us help you it would be helpful with some more ambient occlusion or wireframes on your WIP shots. Right now it's a bit difficult to make out the different elements in your pictures
Dont know blender very well but Ill do my best. Everything looks good so far. Hard to tell without much info, can you post some wireframes and polycount? Are you going for a high poly alone or a game ready model?
Hi, It's a good start, but I suggest you to remove the green background and the sky or to do an better floor. (like grass with wood fences, flowers, ... ) I think that it's better to use a single color background. Can you also show a wireframe version ? Good luck
thanks the for the advice charlie, much appreciated! this is the wireframes. i think in order to fix that back bumper its going to be a lot of vertex moving, but should be fine. thats the first major thing to fix on my list, as it kinda ruins the look of the car without it being curved.
sorry about the first post being broken! my bad. ahh your right! the door is gone.. i modeled an arch doorway to be there.. it apparently ran away! haha thanks for noticing that :) im gonna do some improvements on it, and ill post new shots, with wireframe.
