Not true in the slightest. That video title you're referencing is just clickbait. The methods employed to create concept art are changing, but concept art is and will continue to be used in well managed / planned / funded productions for the foreseeable future.

@oXYnary At the 20 years of id panel the next day, they ( carmack, willits, cloud and hollenshead ) went on to say they plan to continue to do "multiplayer" correct and that there would be dedicated servers with id games. There was lots of applause...

Cool beans. Seems to fit his likeness nicely. I say you leave his pupils completely white for the duration of the project so he continues to look like a chubby Dr. Manhattan.

If the palette looks good ingame that's all that really matters. One thing you want to watch out for as you continue forward with your level is keeping the pixel density consistent on all of your textures.
Some maneurvering around and finding where the issues were, so far it shows clean. Thanks for continually helping me, I know it's probably frustrating since it seems like these are just newb fixes.
