Open the script window. In a Mel tab type the 2 lines below. source "location of Mel file/ninja_uv.mel"; ninja_uv(); Make sure the path is correct. Example: source "c:/tools/ninja_uv.mel"; You can then hilite the 2 lines and drag it to a shelf to create a button
Yeah, I tried a few approaches, and I was lazily multitasking. I did start the edge extrude fro the leg, but I added a new vertical loop to my leg by accident, and just scrapped the whole thing. :poly142: Steady, that link is in my first post.
heres a rework of the leg i've added more curve and poly's around the arch of the pelvis and added a knee under the shorts(which have no bottom so will have to be a 2 sides texture). the shorts have an extra loop to aid the deformation when the lower leg lifts
Still nope. "WELL. The belted earl has spoken. All I see are hired thieves." "These boys are promising young men acquiring an education." "Well, I've had you pegged as the type that likes... educatin' young men."
mag still looks weird. like the extrudes are overdone and it makes the mag look cartoony imo. dunno what you're doing the red on the trigger guard. the gun is sand colored, green, grey, and now red. what's going on there?
oh, and you have a script that merges meshes into one mesh - so, you can assemble pieces in unity and then merge them into one single mesh - if you follow the rules above you will get really optimized scene..
The lenght of her legs make her look stunted/dwarf-ish. I think its cos her arms are really long in comparison to her leg length. Think you can make her taller? Or is it intentional
Yea that front leg looks early funky. Its not really connected to the spine like it should be, and the muscles look like a human. Take a look at that PDF I posted, it will help get a better look for your front legs.
You've got breakdowns of most of the important parts. Only really the underside of the chassis is left truly unclear. Start by nailing down a leg (the back right leg and the breakdown side view should be plenty of ref), then work from there.
Regarding the legs: imo they are way too thin. this is a cartoony character, and i think it would benefit from thicker legs (at least the width of his eyes and big teeth) right now they look too fragile compared to the hat.
