Re: When sculpting characters in Zbrush, is it best to sculpt the body as one piece?
Depends on the clothing and accessories of the concept. I like to have a few objects (3-6) of about equal, large size where the seams get covered by clothes, jewelry or armor, because it makes my computer chug less. -

I edited my first post with a picture of the character for the game. He will have changeable armor etc so hasn't been modelled in. I'm not really sure how to texture his skin, if I even really do that. -

@beanster, Hi and thanks for the feedback! Sorry I should have mentioned that I'm planning to make those head spikes to fold down, so this armor will have two states battle and idle mode, have a great day. -

Started painting some textures!! Armor will be on one map, weapons and accessories on another, and face and beard on one smaller map. I hate UVing with a passion..... And now im going to bed. Goodnight. As always, comments and crits welcome!! -

Nice to see some original female outfit design, in contrast to omnipresent CoverOnlyAssAndNips armor/suit design she moves only by flying? guessing from those straps around her knees which makes walking impossible :) -

The same way i picked up knowledge of anatomy, architecture (not much, still working on it), fantasy cliches, clothing, and other armor and weapons -- i want to be an illustrator, it seems ridiculous not to learn about common subjects of mainstream art. -

Shapes read a lot better on your new design, your on the right track. I personally like the scrapmetal plate with bolts armor. The slick sci-fi stuff is so played out, this is giving me a Hawken vibe. -

Yup, you were totally right, the hands were especially huge. Update: Only small tweaks done on the body today, I've blocked out the armor pieces in Maya so they should show up in tomorrows update. -

There is an Epic mode and a Legendary mode (I suggest playing Legendary co-op). All endgame armor will not be limited to Asian themes. I will post a link to the demo as soon as I can. I hear a rumor of 2ish - BoBo
